In 1988, the current company owner Klaus-Dieter Duwe, together with Karl-Heinz Tamsen and Günter Ludwig, founded Interteam Speditionsges. mbH in Hamburg Billbrook. From the very beginning, the company focussed on intermodal transport, mainly to and from Great Britain. In the early years, the traditional Hamburg and North German shippers were served. Shortly after reunification, Interteam entered the East German market with its Berlin branch. Today, numerous well-known companies from various sectors and branches of industry are among the shippers and the annual turnover figure has reached the €15 million mark. Team spirit is a top priority in the company. Customers value Interteam as an efficient and reliable partner.
