New rules for the Combined Nomenclature (CN) and the EU Common Customs Tariff have been in force since 1 January 2025. These changes concern the more precise classification of products and the introduction of new subheadings for certain goods.

The new regulations aim to simplify international trade and enable more precise control over the flow of goods
Companies need to adapt their systems to apply the correct tariffs and duty rates and avoid delays in customs clearance.
The changes offer opportunities for improved customs clearance, but require internal processes to be adapted in good time.
